Sean Baker’s Cinderella story, Anora, dominated the oscars last night with five wins including Best Actress, Original Screenplay, Film Editing, Director, and Best Picture. Anora stars Mikey Madison as a young sex worker who marries a Russian Oligarch’s son. Anora is a fantastic film romance, often comedy, etc.

Close behind, with a total of three wins, was Brady Cobert’s historical epic, The Brutalist. The film took home awards for Best Actor, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score.
