Two Universes, One Month: July's Superhero Takeover
July is packing a double punch of superhero spectacle. First up is Superman. The movie isn’t a typical superhero origin story. In fact, it skips it entirely. Clark Kent struggles to balance his Kryptonian roots and his human upbringing. When he tries to help during an international conflict orchestrated by lex Luther, he finds his actions are questioned. James Gunn’s blockbuster is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025.
Next, is Fantastic Four, directed by Matt Shakman. Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Human Torch battle it out with Galactus and Silver Surfer. The film releases to close out the month on July 25th. The film has an all-star cast and draws inspiration from Stand Lee and Jack Kirby comics.
With two massive blockbusters hitting theaters just weeks apart, July is shaping up to be an unforgettable month for superhero fans. Whether you're eager to see James Gunn’s fresh take on Superman or excited for Marvel’s First Family, summer 2025 is set to deliver back-to-back cinematic events.
